For your convenience, we recommend staying near the Riocentro Convention & Event Center, the venue for WC13. The Lagune Barra Hotel is located right next to the event center, making it an ideal choice for easy access. However, there are several other great accommodation options in the nearby Barra da Tijuca area.
Choosing the Right Area to Stay
Barra da Tijuca (Convenience)
Barra da Tijuca is the best choice for attendees who prefer to stay close to Riocentro. This modern neighborhood features beautiful beaches, a relaxed atmosphere, and many restaurants. Staying in Barra means a short commute to the event venue.
Copacabana & Ipanema (Sightseeing)
For those who want to experience the vibrant side of Rio, staying in Copacabana or Ipanema is a great option. These neighborhoods are famous for their stunning beaches, lively nightlife, and iconic landmarks. However, please note that Riocentro is about 40-50 minutes away by car from these areas.
If you choose to stay in Copacabana or Ipanema, we recommend arranging daily transportation to the event venue in advance. You can do so by contacting our travel agency (details below).
