Speaker and Poster Presenter Instructions
We are pleased to welcome you as a presenter at the 13th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in the Life Sciences (WC13). To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, please review the instructions below carefully.
For Oral Presenters
- Presentation Format: Slides should be prepared in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format (screen format: 16:9). Other formats may be supported upon request.
- Slide Upload: Bring your presentation on pen drive (USB) or external hard drive (not uploaded). The presentation needs to be uploaded at the media desk.
- Technical Support: Technical staff will be available in all session rooms to assist with setup and troubleshooting. If your presentation includes video, audio, or animations, we recommend testing your file in advance.
- Time Management: Presentation durations may vary depending on the session format. Please contact your session chair well in advance to confirm your allotted time.
- Q&A Time: Time for questions may be included either directly after your talk or at the end of the session. Please align with your session chair on this.
- Speaker Check-In: Please arrive at your session room at least 20 minutes before the session starts and introduce yourself to the session chair and technical team.
- Language: All presentations must be in English, including both the spoken delivery and slides.
For Poster Presenters
- Poster Format: Posters must be in A0 size, portrait orientation.
- Printing: There will be no on-site printing service. Please bring your printed poster with you to the venue.
- Mounting Materials: The organization will provide materials for mounting your poster (e.g., pins or adhesive). You do not need to bring these yourself.
- Display Boards: Information about your specific poster board (number, location, and setup time) will be included in the final program.
- Presenter Presence: You are expected to be present at your poster during the designated poster sessions. The schedule will be communicated in the final program.

Recording and Photography
Sessions may be photographed or recorded for internal reporting or promotional purposes. If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded, please notify the organizing committee in advance.
